Triple Murder Rajkot: Rajkot witnessed a horrifying triple murder on the eve of Diwali, turning what should have been a night of celebration into a scene of chaos and grief. The shocking incident took place in the Ambedkarnagar area late at night, when a minor vehicle collision escalated into a brutal fight that left three men dead — including two brothers.
According to police reports, the victims — Suresh Vasram Parmar (45) and Vijay Vasram Parmar (40) — were allegedly attacked with knives during a violent brawl. In retaliation, the attacker, Arun Vinubhai Barot, was also killed.
The sudden outbreak of violence has sent shockwaves across Rajkot, with police and forensic teams rushing to the crime scene as the city woke up to the horrifying news.
The Night of the Triple Murder in Rajkot
As per preliminary information, the clash began around midnight on Kali Chaudas, the night before Diwali, when two groups confronted each other after a minor road accident.
Witnesses said a small argument over a vehicle collision turned into a heated exchange, which quickly spiraled out of control. Both sides drew weapons, leading to multiple stabbings.
Two brothers — Suresh and Vijay Parmar — were critically injured after being stabbed multiple times. They were rushed to the hospital but were declared dead upon arrival. The attacker, Arun Barot, also suffered fatal injuries during the altercation and died shortly after.
Family’s Grief and Demand for Justice
Speaking to the media, the victims’ father, Vasrambhai Parmar, expressed deep anguish over the brutal killing of his sons.
He stated, “Both my sons were returning home from work when their vehicle collided with another. They simply told the other driver to be careful while driving. But soon, a group of men, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, started abusing and then attacked them with knives. My sons were murdered in front of my family.”
Vasrambhai also demanded that police take strict action against anti-social elements in the area. He blamed the rising liquor-related nuisance in Ambedkarnagar for creating an unsafe environment. “These drunk men keep roaming around and harassing people. The administration must stop illegal liquor trade in our locality,” he added.
Police Rush to the Scene, Launch Investigation
After receiving information about the Triple Murder Rajkot, senior police officers, including DCP (Crime) Jagdish Bangarva, immediately arrived at the Civil Hospital. Teams from the Malviyanagar Police Station, Crime Branch, and other senior officials also reached the spot to investigate the case.
The police have registered a case of murder under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and begun questioning eyewitnesses.
The bodies of all three victims were sent for post-mortem examination, and forensic teams collected evidence from the site, including blood-stained weapons and vehicles involved in the clash.
