On this auspicious occasion, the Chief Minister performed rituals and offered prayers at two sacred temples — the Panchdev Temple in Gandhinagar and the Trimandir in Adalaj.
Bhupendra Patel Begins the New Year with Panchdev Temple Prayers
In the early morning hours, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel visited the Panchdev Temple located in Sector-22, Gandhinagar. He performed puja-archana (ritual worship) and took the blessings of the deities to mark the first day of the New Year.
The Chief Minister prayed for the well-being of Gujarat’s citizens and expressed his hopes for the state’s continued progress under the spirit of peace and unity.
A large number of local devotees and residents had gathered at the temple to witness the occasion and extend their New Year greetings to the Chief Minister. He is also scheduled to meet Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah at his residence in Thaltej, Ahmedabad. Visit to Bhadrakali Mata Temple and Police Officers’ Event
Later in the day, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel is scheduled to visit the Bhadrakali Mata Temple in Ahmedabad at 10 a.m. to seek blessings from the city’s guardian deity. Afterward, at 10:30 a.m., he will meet citizens and government officials at the Annexy State Guest House in Shahibaug, continuing the New Year interactions.
By late morning, around 11:45 a.m., the Chief Minister will attend a special ceremony at the Police Officers’ Mess in Shahibaug Dafnala, where he will offer greetings to senior police officers and their families.
