Botad, 13 October 2025: Botad News: A tense situation unfolded in Haddad village of Botad district on Sunday, 12 October, during a mega-panchayat organized by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). The gathering was held to protest against unfair practices in APMC markets and the alleged exploitation of farmers.

According to AAP, farmers are facing alleged injustice and “black deeds” under the current state government policies. The party claimed that the protest aimed to voice farmers’ concerns, but police attempted to control the crowd, leading to clashes between the authorities and the attendees.
