Driver Burnt Alive, One Narrowly Escapes
In this tragic Jaipur Gas Cylinder Blast, the driver of the chemical tanker was burnt alive on the spot, trapped inside as the fire engulfed his vehicle. Eyewitnesses and local villagers rushed to the scene but were unable to rescue him due to the intense heat and continuous explosions.
The truck driver, however, narrowly escaped death by jumping out moments before the flames reached the cabin. He sustained minor injuries and was later taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Fire Raged for Two Hours
The fire continued to burn uncontrollably for nearly two hours, with 200 LPG cylinders exploding in succession. Locals said the terrifying sounds echoed throughout nearby villages, and the sky was lit up by massive bursts of flame and smoke.
The explosions were so powerful that nearby residents and commuters on the Jaipur-Ajmer highway were forced to flee for safety.

Rescue Teams Rushed to the Scene
After being alerted, firefighters, police, and disaster response teams from Jaipur and Ajmer reached the site to bring the situation under control. Due to the intensity of the fire, it took several hours to douse the flames completely. Traffic on the busy Jaipur-Ajmer highway remained suspended until early morning.
Officials said the exact cause of the collision is under investigation, but preliminary reports suggest that the chemical tanker may have lost control before hitting the parked truck. Authorities are also assessing the environmental damage caused by the spillage and combustion of hazardous chemicals.
