Another Shooting at Kapil Sharma Cafe in Canada

In a shocking incident, another shooting at Kapil Sharma Cafe in Canada has once again raised concerns about gang violence abroad. The café, named Caps Café and owned by Indian comedian Kapil Sharma, came under heavy gunfire early Thursday morning in Surrey, British Columbia. According to reports, nearly 9 to 10 bullets were fired at the building, shattering the front glass and leaving several bullet marks on the walls.

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for this third firing incident in less than four months, causing serious alarm among fans and local authorities.

Third Shooting in Four Months

This latest firing marks the third attack on Caps Café in the past four months. Earlier, the café had been targeted on July 10 and again on August 7. In both those incidents, the shooters fired multiple rounds and damaged the café windows before fleeing the scene.

Following the earlier attacks, the café had to remain closed for several days, and back in India, Kapil Sharma’s security arrangements were reviewed by Mumbai Police. However, this third attack has once again brought the issue of gang rivalry and celebrity threats back into focus.

First Attack: July 10 Incident

The first attack on Kapil Sharma’s café took place on July 10 this year. The café, located in Surrey, was fired upon with nearly 10 to 12 rounds of bullets. The attackers even recorded a video of the shooting and shared it online to spread fear.

Later, Khalistani terrorist Harjit Singh Laddi claimed responsibility for the July attack. Laddi is listed among India’s most wanted terrorists by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and is said to have links with the Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) outfit.

This was the first time the comedian’s café had been dragged into a gang-linked or terror-related controversy, shocking his global fanbase.

Second Attack: August 7 Incident

The second shooting at Caps Café took place just a month later, on August 7. Luckily, the café was closed at the time, preventing any casualties. Reports suggested that six bullet marks were found on the glass windows, along with shattered glass pieces scattered around.

Following the incident, notorious gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Dhillon publicly claimed responsibility for the firing. Goldy Dhillon even made a social media post boasting about the attack, which was later removed after gaining viral attention.

Kapil Sharma’s Response: “We Stand for Peace and Safety”

Three days before the second attack, Kapil Sharma had spoken publicly about the earlier shooting. Taking to social media, he thanked the local authorities and fans for their support.

“We are grateful to the officials and everyone who stood by us. We stand united against violence and will always promote peace and safety,” Kapil wrote.

Despite repeated attacks, the popular comedian has maintained a calm and composed attitude, showing his belief in non-violence and law enforcement.

Lawrence Bishnoi Gang’s Involvement and Threats

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which has now claimed responsibility for the third attack, is already known for its links to several criminal cases in India. The gang has also been involved in issuing threats to Bollywood celebrities, including actor Salman Khan.

Notably, Salman Khan appeared in the first episode of “The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show” earlier this year. According to an India Today report, one of the gang members had released an audio message warning that anyone associated with Salman Khan would also be “targeted.”

This connection has now raised serious concerns about whether the latest attacks on Kapil Sharma’s café could also be indirectly linked to these ongoing rivalries and threats.

Increased Security for Kapil Sharma in Mumbai

After the first two shootings, Mumbai Police stepped up security for Kapil Sharma. Additional police personnel were deployed around the sets of his show and his residence to ensure his safety.

The comedian’s popular OTT show, “The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show”, airs every Saturday on Netflix, featuring top Bollywood stars and international guests. Despite the threats and ongoing investigations, Kapil continues to work and entertain millions of fans around the world.

Authorities have also requested increased security measures near Indian-owned establishments in Canada, especially in areas like Surrey, which has witnessed several gang-related incidents in recent months.

Police Investigation and Global Reaction

Canadian police have launched a detailed investigation into the third shooting at Kapil Sharma Café. Officers are reviewing CCTV footage, bullet casings, and online posts allegedly shared by gang members.

Although no injuries have been reported in any of the three incidents so far, the repeated attacks have left the Indian community in Canada deeply concerned. Fans have taken to social media expressing worry for Kapil’s safety and urging both Canadian and Indian authorities to take stronger action.

The series of shootings at Kapil Sharma’s café in Canada highlights how cross-border gang networks and threats can affect even public figures living far from home.
