Bardoli, Gujarat – Bardoli s Veteran Cooperative Leader Passes Away: The Bardoli region mourns the loss of one of its most respected cooperative leaders, Ramanlal Sukhbhai Patel, the former president of Bardoli Sugar Factory. The veteran leader passed away on Friday following a brief illness, leaving the entire cooperative community and local residents in deep sorrow.

Thousands Attend the Funeral Procession

Ramanlal Patel’s funeral procession drew thousands of people from Bardoli and surrounding villages who came together to pay their final tributes. The procession began from his residence, Sai Darshan, in Bardoli and moved toward his ancestral village, Kharvasa, before heading to the Bardoli Sugar Factory — the institution that symbolized much of his life’s work.

At the sugar factory premises, the procession entered through the main gate accompanied by a marching band and a security parade. In a moving tribute, factory security personnel performed a ceremonial gun salute, while several dignitaries offered floral tributes to the late leader.

A Journey Through Bardoli’s Landmarks

The funeral procession also passed through several key locations closely associated with Patel’s life and contributions, including the Gram Vikas Bank, Bardoli College, Swaraj Ashram, Tajpur College, and the Kedareshwar Mahadev Temple. Residents stood along the roads in various areas such as Jalaram Temple and Vhorwad, showering flowers and expressing their heartfelt condolences.

At Tajpur College, the procession briefly halted to allow students and faculty to pay their respects. The final rites were performed at the Bardoli crematorium, following the traditional passage through the Kedareshwar Temple.
