Mehsana Visnagar News: A deeply disturbing case has emerged from Visnagar city in Gujarat’s Mehsana district, where a 15-year-old minor girl was kidnapped and gangraped by six men at multiple locations over three days. The shocking incident has triggered outrage across the city and raised serious concerns about women’s safety.
Crime Spree That Lasted for Three Days
According to the official police report, the horrific episode began on Saturday night, October 4, and continued till Monday.
During these three days, the minor was allegedly abducted, taken to different places, and repeatedly assaulted by multiple accused one after another. The sequence of events exposes the extreme cruelty and organized nature of the crime.
How the Crime Began
On the night of October 4, around 9:30 PM, the teenager had gone out for a walk near her house. At that time, Vijay Thakor and Pawan Thakor approached her and took her towards a secluded area on Sevaliya Road. There, both men allegedly raped her.
Soon after, Raj Thakor and another unidentified person also reached the spot and joined in the crime. The minor was helpless as multiple men violated her one after another, marking the beginning of her nightmare.
Second Assault: Taken to an Office Building
Later that night, when the girl tried to return home from the Tower area, another accused named Soham Thakor met her on the way. Pretending to help, he took her on his scooter to Pawan Thakor’s office.
There again, Pawan Thakor and Raj Thakor assaulted the minor for the second time. This continued exploitation showed the sheer inhumanity and lack of fear of law among the culprits.
Confined Until Monday and Assaulted Again
After the repeated assaults, Soham Thakor dropped the girl late at night and left. While she was walking near Adarsh School, Prakash Modi and another unknown man offered to drop her home. Trusting them, she sat with them — but instead of taking her home, they drove her to Prakash Modi’s house, where she was kept captive and raped repeatedly until Monday.
For nearly two days, the minor remained confined inside the house, traumatized and terrified. The prolonged captivity made the crime even more brutal and unforgivable.
Family’s Desperate Search and Emotional Breakdown
When the girl didn’t return home for two days, her family began searching for her frantically.
They visited relatives, nearby areas, and even filed a missing report. Finally, on Monday, the minor managed to return home.
Her parents noticed her disturbed condition and informed the police. During questioning on Tuesday night, the girl bravely narrated the entire sequence of events — how she was kidnapped, shifted to various locations, and repeatedly assaulted by different men. Her revelation left the entire family and neighborhood in tears and shock.
Police File Case Under POCSO Act
Based on the girl’s detailed statement, Visnagar Police filed a case against six accused under serious sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
The accused named in the FIR are:
- Vijay Thakor
- Pawan Thakor
- Raj Thakor
- Soham Thakor
- Prakash Modi
- And one unidentified person
Police officials confirmed that investigation teams have been deployed to track and arrest all suspects. Forensic evidence, CCTV footage, and call data records are being collected to strengthen the case.
